I purchase sustainably grown Australian hardwood timber from accredited local retailers and wholesalers.  If your project requires imported or exotic woods, I will seek to source from local recyclers or discuss carbon offsets with you as part of my quote.

Quality wood products are functional, beautiful and readily repurposed.  Not only do trees sequester carbon dioxide in the trunk, branches, leaves and roots throughout their lifecycle, but sustainably harvested wood continues to store that carbon throughout the life of the product. 

I purchase timber on an 'as needs' basis.  While it's impossible to have zero waste, excess timber from projects is repurposed to make other products for sale (e.g. chopping boards, serving boards, even door stops!).  

I'm committed to playing my part in accelerating Australia's transition to clean, renewable power.  Greenwich Woodworks is 100% solar powered via on-site solar panels and battery storage.
